ATB-Toertocht Marum

ATB-Toertocht Marum is an annual mountain bike tour in Marum, Netherlands. The start and finish are at Optisport Sportcentrum de Holten on Hoornweg. Participants can select 30, 50, or 70 kilometers, with all distances commencing at 09:00. ATB Marum organizes the event for off-road cyclists seeking a challenge beyond local paths. The main Marum MTB route covers approximately 31.5 kilometers, featuring singletracks through the surrounding forests. One segment, Trimunt, incorporates agricultural lanes and narrow passages, contributing to a local, somewhat spontaneous character. The organizers pose the challenge, “Do you dare to take it on?”. The event also contributes to trail upkeep; proceeds from a €5 bidon purchase directly fund the maintenance of the local MTB route.
