Coast to Coast Challenge 2026

The Coast to Coast Challenge is a Dutch cycling event from Zoutkamp in Groningen to Zoutelande in Zeeland, covering over 500 kilometers in a single continuous ride. Participants begin in darkness, cycling through the night and the next day, passing through 9 provinces before reaching the coast on the opposite side of the Netherlands. The route crosses the country directly, making the challenge resemble a long test of stamina, teamwork, and sleep deprivation rather than a typical bike tour. It raises awareness for a future without kidney diseases, and finishers receive a personalized route print featuring their name and route, available on paper, aluminum, or acrylic glass.
