KardingeRun sends runners through water, mud, and obstacles around Kardinge in Groningen, Netherlands. It is the largest obstacle and mud run in the northern Netherlands, held over two days in September, with 4 km, 7.5 km, 12 km, and 15 km options. People can enter solo, with a company group, as a team, or through the FamilyRun, so the field ranges from adults racing on their own to parents running with children.
The organization starts from Momentum at Padel aan Bieskemaar, and the route includes the Kardingebult, the hill in the Kardinge area. The course changes between editions, with renewed routes and new obstacles, and the 7.5 km option has featured more obstacles than before. Starts are sent off in waves of up to 75 runners. Individual runners must be at least 12, while children aged 6 to 12 can join the 4 km FamilyRun with an adult, and children aged 8 to 12 can join the 7.5 km FamilyRun. The same organizers also run RUN & Dip, a separate New Year event with 2 km, 4 km, or 6 km running and an optional cold-water dive.
