Nobel Run Almere is a running event held in May in Almere Hout, a green district of Almere in Flevoland. It is structured as a local sports day rather than a single competition, offering road-running distances from short children’s races up to 15 km, alongside a 5 km walking tour. The schedule features the 1.6 km Kidsrun of Patrick, 2 km ConnectEV Kids sprintrace, 3 km ConnectEV sprintrace, 5 van Madeleen, 10 van ProActief, and 15 van ff Sebas bellen.
The routes traverse the green areas and nature surrounding Almere Hout, with volunteers and water stations positioned along the course. Children have their own dedicated races, and each kidsrun finisher is awarded a bottle of Flevosap at the finish line. The event also incorporates a food market and a sports square, allowing families to remain on-site before or after their runs. Certain distances, including the 15 km, 10 km, 5 km, and kidsrun, have time limits, and complimentary race photos are distributed via the event’s social media platforms.
