Byløpet

Byløpet starts and finishes in central Skien, with the event area on the square outside Arkaden. It is Grenland’s largest city race and half marathon, with distances from 5 km up to 21 km, suitable for serious runners, hobby runners, school groups, and families. The route circles Hjellevannet, offering runners a loop near the water while remaining connected to the city center. Younger children have their own race, Ibsens Barneløp, for ages 0-10. The event focuses on encouraging running and welcoming both competitive and casual participants.
