Elgløpet

Elgløpet is a trail-running event held at Løken, Norway, organized by HIUL and taking place on a Saturday in October. The current race uses Høland stadion as the start and finish area, with registration and timing managed by EQTiming. The main course consists of one or two laps on the illuminated trail at Løken; the 10k distance comprises two laps. A children's race is also available, with 300m and 800m distances. Previous editions were simpler, using the shelter in Morgenlia as the race base, but the event has since relocated to a stadium setup while retaining the local forest-trail format.
