Glesværløpet is a 4.5 km race held on Glesvær in Øygarden, near Bergen. The start and finish are located at Glesvær kafè. This race takes place within the coastal village and is organized by Glesnes Ungdom- og Idrettslag. Having completed its twentieth edition, the event attracts a modest local field, not a large city-race crowd.
The route goes by old boathouses, farm roads, short asphalt sections, and parts of trail. Approximately a quarter of the participants compete in the official classes, while the majority opt for the tour class. The competition is still fast: Marius Sørli's men's course record is nearly unbroken, and Eli Anne Dvergsdal holds the women's record at 15:48.
