Hinnaløpet is a local running race starting in Hinna, Stavanger, at 14:00. Participants can choose between the full Hinnaløpet, covering 9.3 km, or the Hinnaberget 5980, which is just under 6 km. This race has been held annually since 1981. Its course features mixed-surface loops originating from the Hinna sports area and crossing Sørmarka, deviating from a purely flat road course.
The 9.3 km route begins at Hinna Stadion and enters Sørmarka, consisting of approximately 70 percent gravel and the remainder on asphalt. The Hinnaberget 5980 shares the initial and final sections with the longer race but omits the ascent to Ullandhaug. Its first and last kilometers have been modified to minimize traffic impact. The event maintains a comprehensive seniority list that tracks each runner's participation history. Awards are presented to both first-time participants and long-standing runners. Results, live timing, photographs, course maps, and registration details are available on the Hinna Friidrett website, with additional updates provided on Instagram.
