Jentebølgen Molde begins at the town square in Molde city center and is typically a 5-6 km public health run for women. This Molde event is scheduled for early June, with a straightforward objective: encourage women and girls to be active, whether they run, walk, or dance the route. Timing is not used, so the day focuses on activity, confidence, mental health, and shared effort rather than competitive racing.
The course starts from Torget. The Molde edition features Color Run zones, where participants pass through clouds of color. A mini-concert precedes the start, followed by a warm-up led by Friskis Molde from the stage. The finish area provides fruit and smoothies, and the event area includes stands, prizes, and activities. The run also benefits Mental Helse Ungdom, a youth mental health organization.
