Lundehøgda Opp begins in Moelv and ascends 6.6 km to the summit of Lundehøgda. This Norwegian uphill race has a straightforward objective: depart Moelv at 132 meters elevation and conclude at 582 meters, covering the elevation difference between the town and the ridge above.
The course initially follows the Moelvmarka friends' trail system, proceeds towards Ringsvegen, and concludes with a steep tractor road ascent to Lundehøgda. From the peak, participants can view a large portion of Ringsaker municipality. Past front-runners have included cross-country skiers, ultra runners, strong local competitors, record seekers, and very young athletes. The event has seen close finishes, participant number records, course records, and editions contested in significant heat.
