Nalganas bakkeløp is a short hill climb in Tverrelvdalen, organized by Trimgruppa til Tverrelvdalen IL. It starts by the artificial turf field, where runners can park, register, and pay in the cafe before the competition begins.
The race is 3.9 kilometers long, climbing 380 meters to Nalganas. The primary challenge is the steady uphill, not the distance.
The route starts on asphalt up the old road, then turns onto the ski trail, crosses a bridge, passes Gammelsetra and the small bridge over Veta, follows the edge of a field, and continues onto a forest trail before reaching more open ground near the top. Participants aged 15 and over complete the full climb. Younger participants have their own finish at the top of the hills and can continue upward afterward. Hikers are welcome; the course is marked in advance, and prizes are drawn among all participants.
