Nyttårsløpet Tønsberg

Nyttårsløpet Tønsberg is a New Year's Eve fun run in Tønsberg, Norway. The first start is at noon outside Hall B at the city’s exhibition area on Stenmalveien. Participants can choose between 5 km or 10 km, and children have their own short race of approximately 400 meters. The 10 km race begins first, followed by the 5 km ten minutes later, and the children’s race starts shortly thereafter. Experienced runners participate alongside individuals seeking a final, easy jog of the year, with results logged for the main distances. Changing rooms are accessible in Hall B, and refreshments are provided post-race. Organizers suggest using public transport due to a nearby bus stop; parking is available by the exhibition area near the ice rink for those arriving by car.
