Sparebanken Østlandet-mila is a 10,000-meter track race at Skarpsno Arena in Moelv, located beside the Moelven IL Friidrett facilities. The race is set for late August and has a participant limit of 400 runners. Rather than starting all participants together, it divides runners into heats based on their target finish time, ranging from 50-75 minutes down to 30-35 minutes, ensuring participants compete with others of similar speed.
The course consists of 25 laps on the track. Each heat is structured around comparable running speeds, meaning the participants contribute significantly to the race's pacing. The event, formerly known as HOKA-mila and held at the same venue, retains its format under the new name. It is suitable for club runners aiming for a fast, officially timed 10,000m, as well as runners preferring a structured track race over a road event. Dedicated elite women's and men's heats include approved start procedures and shoe inspections, allowing their times to be recognized for championship qualification and national records. Skarpsno Arena is approximately 500 meters from Moelv station, with bib collection available in Limtrehallen, adjacent to the stadium.
