Tittinghalla Rundt begins at Utøy school on Inderøy, offering a 13.5-kilometer run and walk. The event, organized by Frigg / Inderøy IL, has been a fixture in local running since 1966. It functions as a community gathering, with registration at the school and participants setting off during a late morning start window. Upon returning, participants can enjoy coffee and waffles provided by Saniteten.
The course primarily follows roads, incorporating a forest trail section after reaching the highest point at Ørdalen. This summit provides a broad vista, described by organizers as Inderøy’s equivalent to Geiranger, offering a distinct viewpoint. A juice station is located at Ørdal, and a nature trail is integrated into the route. The race maintains an extensive participant archive, presenting awards for 1, 4, 7, 10, and 15 years of participation. Additional prizes are given at five-year intervals, and gift-prize drawings are available to all runners.
