Tauron Biegnij dla Aniołów is a charity run held in Park Kościuszki in Katowice, near Children’s Day. It supports the children and young people assisted by Dom Aniołów Stróżów, the House of Guardian Angels. The primary distance is 5 kilometers, and participants can run, jog, or walk. It is intended for regular runners, families, children, and anyone wishing to participate regardless of fitness level. The park event features children’s participation, with almost 100 preschoolers joining the last edition. Families with strollers are permitted on the route. A virtual option is available for those unable to attend in Katowice: participants select their own location and distance, track 5 kilometers using a running app for the medal, and submit proof. The series has been held for several editions, maintaining its straightforward concept: cover a short, accessible distance and convert the entry fee into aid for Dom Aniołów Stróżów.
