Bieg Ojców 2026

Bieg Ojców is a Father's Day running event in Ropczyce-Witkowice, starting from the parking lot by the parish church of St. Michael the Archangel. It is built around fathers running with their children, with three short options: 700 metres, 2.5 km, and 5 km. The race starts in the afternoon and concludes a couple of hours later, functioning more as a family gathering with races at its core than an extended competition day. Only fathers with children can enter the races, with no age limits, and strollers are permitted for children under three or for individuals who use one daily. The event also raises funds for Antosia Brandys from Witkowice, providing a local charity purpose for the day. Away from the running, families can enjoy children's games, a bouncy castle, ice cream, cotton candy, fruit, food trucks, a fire truck, motorcycles, and a performance by the dance group Maly Halicz.
