Bieg Szczuków

Bieg Szczuków is a small running event held in June in Szczuczyn, located in Poland’s Podlaskie region. It features a 10 km main race and several starts for younger participants. The main field is limited to 100 runners, giving it the feel of a local community race rather than a large urban event. The race office and start area are situated at the Transboundary Center for Cultural Dialogue on Sportowa Street. Participants receive a medal and a recovery meal as part of their entry package. The event is structured to accommodate families alongside adult runners. Preschool and grade “0” children have their own race, followed by a race for grades I-II, and youth distances begin at 200 meters. The City Hall in Szczuczyn organizes the event, with Klub Sportowy Maratonka Grajewo contributing to recent editions. Now in its several editions, it is a established fixture in the town’s local sports calendar.
