Charytatywny Bieg Z Żonkilem 2026

The Charytatywny Bieg z Żonkilem is named for its yellow daffodils, which form its visual theme. This June charity run takes place on Bolko Island in Opole, beginning near the Laba club-cafe on Spacerowa Street. Participants can choose a timed 5 km race or a 2.5 km Nordic walking route. Entry fees and income from starting packages support the Home Hospice for Children in Opole. The 5 km course consists of two approximately 2.5 km loops, with Nordic walkers completing a single loop. The Zespół Szkół Ekonomicznych im. Gen. Stefana Roweckiego "Grota" in Opole organizes the event. It also advances the Fields of Hope campaign by connecting sport with hospice care awareness, education, and local integration. Participation is limited, and all entrants receive a medal, water, and an energy bar. Top finishers will be awarded trophies and sponsor gifts.
