Pelplin’s city market grounds serve as the main site for Dni Pelplina, an annual town festival in the Pomeranian region typically held near the start of June. It is a three-day public event featuring sports competitions alongside concerts, children’s activities, and the town’s civic functions.
The program attracts residents of the Pelplin Commune, tourists, and visitors, including children, young people, and adults. A colorful residents’ parade is part of the tradition, and the festival also commemorates the visit of St. John Paul II to Pelplin. Recent performers have included Polish acts such as Gosia Andrzejewicz, De Mono, LemON, and Mariusz Kalaga, making the event a local gathering with music, sport, and family activities throughout the weekend.
