The Nekielski Bieg do Lata is a 10 km road race held in Nekla, a town in western Poland, marking the start of summer. The main race begins on Nekla Market Square, attracting runners from across Poland. Past editions have seen fields ranging from just over 200 finishers to more than 400.
The route follows the streets of Nekla and the adjacent Starczanowo. Before the start, runners receive a warm-up led by a fitness instructor. One edition provided pacemakers for 40, 45, and 50-minute finish times. The race is fast for a local 10K, with winning times recorded at 34:54 for men and 38:45 for women. Prizes are also awarded to the first finishers from the county and the Nekla municipality, reflecting local pride.
