Lubawska Dycha 2026

Lubawska Dycha begins and ends at Łazienkowski Stadium in Lubawa. The primary event is a 10 km road race crossing the city, held in June under the Mayor of Lubawa's patronage and organized by the local Sports and Recreation Center on Łąkowa Street. Younger runners have their own Mini Dycha races prior to the main start, and walkers participate in a separate 5.9 km Nordic Walking event shortly after the runners depart. The route departs the stadium via Łąkowa Street, proceeds through 19-Stycznia and Kupnera, then continues along Gutenberg Bible Street and Kopernika Street. A turnaround point is located near Kopernika 51 before the return leg to the stadium. The main race attracts over 200 participants, with a smaller Nordic Walking group also present. Drink stations are staffed by scouts, firefighters, and local youth. OSP Lubawa firefighters provide water curtains in hot weather, and local government officials present medals at the finish.
