The International Street Run in Jaworzno begins and ends within the Viktoria city stadium at Krakowska 8. This Saturday road race offers two distances: a 15 km main event and a 10 km recreational run. The 15 km race has been held since 1996, with the shorter 10 km distance introduced for less experienced long-distance runners. It stands as Jaworzno's largest sports event, uniting professional athletes and amateurs on the same program.
The race primarily features local participants from Jaworzno, but also draws competitors from beyond Poland. Athletes from Kenya, Ukraine, Belarus, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Hungary are frequently listed. The event is also a component of the Triada Biegowa Trójkąta Trzech Cesarzy, a larger running series linked to the historic Three Emperors’ Triangle region. Modern timing and route-security systems are employed, reflecting the race's evolution from a local run while maintaining the city stadium as its central point.
