Mini Melts Survival Race KIDS is a children’s obstacle race in Poland for ages 2 to 13. It features mud, foam, short trail-style courses, and age-matched challenges, not finishing times. The youngest runners, ages 2 to 3, compete in the Lisek category: 650 meters with 10 obstacles, with a parent assisting on the course. Ages 4 to 5 run the Tygrys route independently, covering 1000 meters and 18 obstacles while parents remain nearby for support. Older participants face longer, more demanding courses: Pirat runners aged 6 to 7 navigate 1500 meters with 25 obstacles, Ninja runners aged 8 to 9 tackle 1500 meters with 26 obstacles, and Pantera runners aged 10 to 13 complete 1800 meters with 27 obstacles.
The event is intentionally low-pressure. There are no rankings, and participants can choose to complete or skip obstacles. Even the mud and foam sections offer a side path for children preferring less mess or a simpler challenge. All finishers receive a medal. The race day also includes face painting, a guided warm-up, an event wristband, and a Mini Melts activity area. Parents often remain close to encourage participants along the route, and volunteers provide assistance at obstacles. The organizer reports that 176,000 children have participated in Survival Race Kids events throughout Poland, and each ticket purchase contributes to providing a meal for a dog.
