The Polish Street Races in Mielec is an evening road-running event centered on the Grzegorz Lato Municipal Stadium on ul. Solskiego and the adjacent MOSiR recreational grounds. The schedule is structured as a complete local race day, not a single start. It features 11 races across age categories, with children and youth runners competing on the stadium grounds and a main 2-mile race for women and men. The primary race takes place in the MOSiR recreation area, while younger participants compete at the municipal stadium. This setup allows families to observe multiple races within a confined area. Over 500 runners participated in the most recent running of the event. Winners in each race and age group are awarded cash prizes, material prizes, and cups, contributing to a competitive atmosphere that also accommodates children, club runners, and local participants.
