The Sopot Opera Leśna run is the 5 km Forest Opera circuit, part of #RUNinSOPOT. This is a small race series in Sopot, located on Poland’s Baltic coast. The series combines three winter beach races near the Sopot Pier with a later event around the Forest Opera grounds. This offers participants both a seaside environment and a tour of another town section. The Forest Opera event has a limit of 250 participants. The standard entry fee is 49 PLN, with a reduced fee of 40 PLN for Sopocka Card holders. Entry is free for those aged 65 and above.
The start, finish, race office, and participant check-in for the Forest Opera race are situated in the parking lot adjacent to the venue, contributing to the event's compact nature. Participants must be at least 16 years old; minors require consent from a parent or guardian. Entrants must also confirm they have no medical contraindications or present a medical certificate. NNW accident insurance is mandatory. Every finisher gets a commemorative medal, a race number, electronic timing, a beverage, and fruit. The Municipal Sports and Recreation Center of Sopot organizes the series, with The North Event serving as co-organizer. Prizes are awarded to the top three overall female and male finishers, as well as winners in age categories.
