Semi-marathon des Forêts de Miasteczko

The Semi-marathon des Forêts de Miasteczko takes place under the pine canopy of the Świerklaniec and Miasteczko forests, where pavement quickly stops being the focus. The event features forest running over 5 km, 21 km, and 21.1 km, positioned between a road race and a full trail run. It is fast enough for steady pacing, but primarily on natural ground and soft paths instead of city asphalt. The route crosses state forests, with turns between trees instead of curbs and a surface that is gentler on the legs than hard road. It is suitable for runners who appreciate pine needles, birdsong, and quiet forest paths, yet still wish to run rather than hike long ascents. After finishing, participants can relax in Świerklaniec Park, formerly known as the “Little Versailles,” or immerse their legs in Nakło-Chechle for cold-water recovery.
