The D’Ouro Run Gondomar is a road race held on the Douro-side marginal road in Gondomar, situated east of Porto. The event features a 21.097 km half marathon, alongside a 10 km mini marathon and a non-competitive 5 km walk. The competitive races are designated for athletes aged 18 and older, while the walk welcomes participants of all ages.
The course follows an out-and-back route along Road N108, connecting Valbom and Foz do Sousa. It begins and concludes on Avenida Escritor Costa Barreto, near the GALP station. The course has its flat and fast profile, offering a suitable environment for runners aiming for personal bests where pacing is prioritized over elevation changes. The event incorporates chip timing, provides water stations at intervals along the half marathon route, and presents trophies for age group winners, team standings, and the largest participating team. All finishers will receive a shirt, bib, and medal.
