Aquae Brunheiro Trail is a trail running event in Chaves, northern Portugal, held over a September weekend. It starts in the village of Vilar de Nantes and finishes in the city of Chaves, with runners spending the main part of the race on the trails of Serra do Brunheiro. The race is organized by Associação Lobos do Brunheiro de Chaves, with support from the Municipality of Chaves, the Athletics Association of Vila Real, and local parish councils.
The event is part of Portugal's National Trail Circuit and carries scoring value across ATRP ultra trail, trail, trail sprint, and youth trail categories. It also counts toward the UTMB Index, ITRA Index, and the regional trail circuit in both short and long formats. The third edition adds a new distance, so the program is aimed at more than one type of runner, from shorter-distance trail racers to athletes chasing ranking points on longer courses.
