Half Marathon Loures-Odivelas-Loures

The Half Marathon Odivelas-Loures-Odivelas begins and ends at Parque do Silvado in Odivelas, with the 21 km race taking place on Sunday morning. It is organized by the municipalities of Odivelas and Loures under the slogan “Juntos pelo Desporto” — “Together for Sport.” The weekend also includes a 10 km race, a 5 km walk, and a children’s race held the day before at Praça da República, in Jardim da Amoreira, Odivelas. The race revives an older road event from the eighties and nineties that linked Odivelas and Loures. Its course distance has a World Athletics international measurement certificate, so results can count for record homologation and national or international rankings. The format brings together half marathon runners, 10 km runners, walkers, and children, with the Sunday awards ceremony scheduled after the morning races.
