Trail Vila de Alegrete

Trail Vila de Alegrete is a trail race held in Alegrete, within Portugal’s Portalegre district. It is organized by Grupo Desportivo de Alegrete, with support from the local parish council and Portalegre’s municipal government. The race is part of the AADP district trail circuit and offers both short and long race categories, alongside the youth Trail Jovem category, which is linked to the Mini Trail. The event features multiple start lines. Adult trail runners compete under the district circuit rules, while younger participants have their own Trail Kids Run, open to ages 5 to 15. This kids’ race also aims to include participants with disabilities when they can safely join, with CERCI de Portalegre assisting in its organization.
