Trilhos do Nabão is a trail event in Tomar, Portugal, set around Santa Cita and Linhaceira in the Ribatejo region. Its routes follow the banks of the Nabão River. The event includes a 30 km trail with approximately 1100 m of elevation gain, a 15 km trail with about 600 m of gain, and a 12 km walk. These options cater to runners seeking a challenging run and those preferring a more relaxed pace through the area.
The course features technical singletrack, dirt roads, rural paths, riverside sections, dense vegetation, bridges, and irrigation channels. ACRL Linhaceira established the event to promote local sport, attract trail runners from across Portugal, and highlight the forest and river landscape near Tomar, the historic Templar city in the Tagus basin. Following the race, a traditional local recovery treat is Fatias de Tomar, a convent sweet prepared in special copper pans.
