Ramträffen is a mountain bike fun race held in Ramsberg, located in Sweden’s Bergslagen region. Participants can choose between 30 km and 15 km routes. The riding primarily takes place on singletrack, making it more of a forest trail day than a road-style endurance event. The longer route presents a greater challenge, while the shorter option offers a less demanding experience on the same local terrain. A bike with suspension is recommended, and E-MTBs are not permitted.
Both distances commence and conclude at Ölsjöbadets camping. The course winds through dense forest, passes historic mine shafts, crosses glacial ridges, and follows lake shores, featuring varied trail sections. Following the race, sponsor prizes are raffled based on start numbers. The camping area includes a kiosk offering basic grilled items, snacks, and beverages. Showers and restrooms are available for riders. Additionally, a wood-fired sauna raft is heated post-race, and discounted camping and tent spaces are available for those wishing to stay overnight.
