Beh na boso Tatry is a barefoot running event held in Veľká Lomnica, starting and finishing at the Black Stork Golf Course. No shoes are permitted, with the entire race designed for running directly on the ground. The primary event is a 10 km race featuring 80 m of elevation gain, completed over four laps. A 5 km race with 40 m of climbing is also available. Shorter options include a 1 km non-competitive run and 250 m races for children up to 12 years old.
The course consists of mown grass, with sections crossing paths and stones covered by carpet. It is predominantly flat, with a few minor inclines. The 10 km race includes three aid stations, beneficial for a lapped course where participants repeatedly pass the same sections. Separate categories exist for adults and under-16 runners in the 10 km, 5 km, and 1 km events. Awards are presented across men's and women's age groups. The event also incorporates a charity run, extending its appeal beyond purely competitive participants.
