Beh na chatu pri Zelenom Plese - na pamiatku K. Jakesa is a short mountain race in Slovakia's High Tatras. It begins at Kezmarska Biela Voda and concludes at Chata pri Zelenom plese. The race covers 7.7 km with a 636-meter ascent, making the primary difficulty the uphill climb through the forest, not the overall distance. Participants gather in the morning, with the start scheduled for 10:30. Awards are presented at the mountain hut located at the finish line.
The course consists of a single path on a 100% forest surface, terminating next to Green Lake at one of the eastern Tatras' most scenic huts. Alkan - klub horskych sportov is the organizing body. This event is intended for individuals who enjoy sports, mountains, and outdoor activities, welcoming both amateur and professional athletes. The name signifies a memorial race for K. Jakes, adding a personal touch to this local mountain run instead of it being solely an uphill time trial.
