Behaj Lesmi Devín begins at Devín Castle in Bratislava-Devín, Slovakia, as part of Behaj Lesmi, a seven-race Slovak trail-running series focused on running in nature. The Devín event offers runners a choice of hilly forest routes: approximately 22 km with 740 m of elevation gain, approximately 12 km with 400 m of elevation gain, and a short 5 km charity run with minimal elevation gain. Children’s races are included, making the day suitable for all ages, not just adults aiming for the longer distances.
The routes primarily utilize forest roads, aligning with the series' objective of minimizing pavement for participants. Near Devín, the course connects the castle area with a historically significant landscape, crossing the old Amber Road and passing wild garlic in bloom. Participants are divided into adult age groups from teenagers to over 70, while children's categories feature playful Slovak names like Slimáčikovia, Veveričky, Zajačikovia, Líščatá, Vlčiaci, and Srnčatá. A recent edition recorded 222 registered participants, suggesting a community trail event atmosphere rather than a large-scale city race.
