2026 Columbus Aruna Run

The Columbus Aruna Run offers a 5K and a 1-mile run/walk at Prairie Oaks Metro Park in West Jefferson, west of Columbus. Both races begin in the morning, with packet pickup and walk-up registration available earlier at the park. The event is designed for both runners and walkers, and each registration fee supports the Aruna Project's mission to free, employ, and empower trafficked women. The course is contained within Prairie Oaks Metro Park, featuring a map available online and plenty of on-site parking. Teams and individual fundraisers are central to the event: teams gain Aruna Shop credit as they expand, individuals earn credit by raising funds, and the leading fundraising team receives a pizza party. The top female and male finishers in both the 5K and 1-mile races get Aruna gear and shop credit. Event giveaways include an Aruna Beach Bag crafted by Aruna Artisans and a District Tri-Blend Tee. A personal touch is that the shirt logo and beach bag buttons display the names of women whose freedom the run advocates for.
