9/11 Commemorative 5K Run/Walk

Participants are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue for Graham's 9/11 Commemorative 5K Run/Walk, a September community event organized by the City of Graham. The primary event is a 5K, but the day is designed for more than just racers: anyone can participate, and the event proceeds regardless of weather. The course will feature a new route, with details to be announced separately. First responders are eligible for a Team Cup 5K, while those seeking a shorter, less strenuous option can join the non-competitive 1-mile run/walk following the 5K. Families will find a Touch A Truck area and a Park & Play Mobile Recreation area. The event also offers Runner Services in the fire bays, a blood drive, games, music provided by a DJ, space for lawn chairs, and carpooling is recommended.
