41st Annual Zoo Relay 2026

The Zoo Run Relay is a Friday evening race held at the San Antonio Zoo in San Antonio, Texas. The primary format is a four-person relay, with each runner completing a 2-mile loop. Consequently, each team requires four distinct, registered participants; individuals are not permitted to run multiple legs. An individual 4-mile race, consisting of two loops, is also available for those preferring to run solo. The Kids Run is scheduled for Saturday morning. The event is sponsored by H-E-B and contributes to wildlife conservation efforts at the zoo. Team categories include men's, women's, co-ed, and masters men's divisions, attracting a diverse group of club runners, corporate teams, families, and friends, distinguishing it from a typical solo road race. Each registration provides access to Runner's Village, two drink vouchers, a Zoo Run shirt, a drawstring bag, and a general admission ticket to the zoo.
