Babcock Labor Day 5K Run or Walk

The Babcock Labor Day 5K Run or Walk begins at 7:30 AM in Babcock Ranch, Florida, with participants starting together in front of Lee Health. Entrants can select a chip-timed 5K run or an untimed 5K walk, with Beach Bum Timing managing the timed race. This event is included in the Babcock Ranch Summer Race Series, which also features the Run to Remember 5K and the 4th of July 5K. The route covers 3.1 miles on pavement through Babcock Ranch, concluding at the Founders Square boardwalk by the bandstand. Water stations are available halfway and at the finish. All participants receive finisher medals, and awards are presented for overall, masters, grand masters, senior grand masters, and age-group winners. Dogs and strollers are permitted but must begin at the rear, unless a participant can complete the 5K in under 21 minutes. A discount is offered for registering in multiple series events, and local running clubs are eligible for a separate discount.
