The BETTY ZANE DAYS 5K kicks off the Betty Zane Festival with an evening 5K at City Park in Martins Ferry, Ohio. The run/walk begins at 6 p.m., with a walk-only option starting two minutes later, separating runners and walkers at the start.
The race starts and finishes at the park on South Zane Highway, presenting a compact local festival course. Entry is low-cost, age-group awards are available, and all proceeds benefit the Martins Ferry cross-country team, providing the event a clear school-sports purpose beyond its festival kickoff.
