The 44th Annual Black Bear Run follows the Hiawatha Sportsman’s Club trails, providing a long-standing event for runners. The 12K race starts at Engadine High School, a central point for all participants.
The course includes both pavement and gravel sections. 6K participants are transported by bus from Engadine High School to their start, with return transport also provided. All runners get a dry-fit t-shirt. Trophies go to overall winners, and 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place medals are given across age divisions for male and female finishers in the 12K Run, 6K Run, and 6K Walk.
