Booby Bolt 5k & Kids 1 Mile Fun Run 2026

The Booby Bolt 5k & Kids 1 Mile Fun Run is a fall community race held at Pleasant View Community Park, located at 2501 Pleasant View Road. Pink Out For Hope, a local 501(c)3 nonprofit, organizes the event as its primary fundraiser to support local breast cancer patients. Participants can run or walk the 5k, and children aged 12 and under can join a separate 1-mile Fun Run. Pink Out For Hope utilizes the race to provide financial aid, resources, and encouragement to patients undergoing breast cancer treatment. The organization has assisted over 70 local patients. A recent running of the event attracted more than 500 participants, becoming the organization’s second-largest event at that time. One year's race was canceled because several board members were actively battling breast cancer, highlighting the personal connection many have to the cause.
