CCTX Marathon-Corpus Christi 2026

The CCTX Marathon-Corpus Christi is a race weekend on the Corpus Christi bayfront featuring a marathon, half marathon, two-person half-marathon relay, and 5K. The longer races begin at the Watergardens next to the Art Museum on North Shoreline Boulevard. The 5K starts at the Hilliard Center, proceeds to McCaughn Park, and then returns. The marathon is 26.2 miles, the half marathon is 13.1 miles, and the marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier. The course incorporates bayfront and downtown streets, including North Shoreline Boulevard, Chaparral Street, Harbor Drive, Mesquite Street, Broadway, Port Avenue, Leopard Street, Water Street, Schatzell Street, and Ocean Drive. Over 1,300 runners are anticipated, with participants traveling from across the United States. As a new Corpus Christi race, its primary appeal is a complete race weekend centered on the city’s waterfront, offering events for dedicated marathoners, half-marathon runners, relay teams, and 5K participants.
