Charles Bender Memorial Swim and Relay

The 12th Annual Charles Bender Memorial Swim honors Charles, who died of heart failure. His family returns for the eighth time. The course features half the swim upstream toward Valley Forge National Park. You'll swim to the western tip of Barbadoes Island and back, making counter-clockwise turns around the buoys. Conditions are subject to flow and runoff, which can affect water quality.
