The Empty Arms Walk is a two-hour charity walk held in early October at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Bangor, Maine. Registration costs $20, and the event is run by a nonprofit organization staffed entirely by volunteers.
The walk supports Empty Arms’ work with families grieving pregnancy and infant loss. Participants can create fundraising links for donations from friends and relatives, and the event uses sponsor levels named Swallowtail, Wings of Hope, and Butterfly. A Facebook page, a contact form, and a post-walk survey are available.
