The FCA Endurance Race uses a one-mile paved loop on the University of North Georgia Gainesville Campus in Oakwood, Georgia. Participants select a timed event rather than a set distance, with options for 2, 4, 6, 12, and 24 hours. Separate 5K and 10K races are also offered. The 5K, 10K, and 24-hour races begin in the morning. Runners in the shorter timed races can opt for a morning or evening start.
The endurance loop follows campus roads, with all lanes dedicated to runners. This course design supports consistent pacing, readily available aid, and convenient crew access. The 5K incorporates a dirt pipeline section and a portion of the cross-country trail. The 10K follows this initial section before heading onto an out-and-back greenway. The central race area is located in a large parking lot, featuring aid stations, medical tents, and adjacent grassy spots for personal tents. The finish line is situated in Tent City. The event also features the Hearn Hundred, a challenge for runners aiming for 100 miles within the 24-hour race.
