Kenner's Ole Man River Half Marathon

Kenner's Ole Man River Half Marathon begins and ends in Heritage Park, adjacent to Heritage Hall, in Kenner, Louisiana. It is noted as the sole half marathon in Jefferson Parish, with the race day also featuring a 10K, 5K, and a 1-Mile Run for children. The half marathon commences at 7 a.m. CST, welcoming experienced runners, those new to the sport, and casual walkers. The course traces the Mississippi River and has organizers as level and swift, making it suitable for first-time participants and beneficial for runners aiming for a personal best. The event, now in its 45th year, is presented by the City of Kenner. Proceeds benefit local charities and businesses. The finish area transforms into a block party with live music, food, cold beer, finisher medals, and race shirts. A Largest Team Competition is also held, allowing groups to enhance the social aspect of the event.
