The Monster Dash 5K Ribbon Run begins with a Survivor Parade, followed by a 9:00 a.m. 5K for runners and walkers in Beaumont, Texas. This event, also known as the Gift of Life 5K Ribbon Run and Monster Dash, supports breast cancer awareness in the southeast Texas community.
The route is not detailed, but street closures precede the parade and race. Participants may run, walk, or stroll in costume, and teams of family, friends, or co-workers are welcome. The day features a kickoff ceremony, a Kiddie Zone, and a Wellness Village, with chip timing provided for runners. The registration fee is $35, and survivors and children 6 and under can participate without charge.
