Moorehead Park offers challenging hills and beautiful scenery on single track dirt trails and mowed meadow sections. Expect about 1000 ft of elevation gain per loop. You'll run on old stage coach trails, passing the first homestead, the settlers' cemetery, old farm equipment, an old train depot, and a one-room schoolhouse. Shoes may get wet in the meadows due to dew. For the Moorehead Park Trail Mazathon, bring your own drinking device; aid stations will not provide cups. All finishers receive a medal.
