New Year's Day 5k 2027

The New Year's Day 5K & Fun Run begins the year at Katy Trail Ice House in Uptown Dallas, adjacent to the Katy Trail. The 5K race starts at 9:00 a.m. Central, with a 1-mile fun run following at 9:05. A virtual option is available for those who prefer to run in a different location. The event is designed for a relaxed New Year's morning rather than a demanding race. The venue features an Austin-style beer garden and restaurant with a fifty-foot bar, fifty beers on tap, communal patio seating, and brunch served until 11 a.m. Runners who register early can receive a shirt, and the venue provides a limited amount of valet parking.
